A FORMER pupil of St George’s School in Harpenden, Gurlaine Sidhu appeared in the BBC TV drama Doctors which was shown on Sunday night.
She is 19 years old and had already taken a small part in Holby City earlier this year.
Gurlaine plays CJ Jaspal in Doctors, who falls victim to her older sister’s jealousy over her boyfriend. She thoroughly enjoyed the filming of it and loved working with the cast.
She has been acting since the age of 15. Her first short film was Counter Punch which was about boxing and she then made it through to the final 15 auditionees out of 8,000 for a part in teen drama Skins.
Gurlaine is hoping that her role in Doctors will catapult her to bigger things. She loves watching EastEnders and would love to be lucky enough to appear in the TV soap one day.
