Without giving too much away, comedian Ed Byrne brings his Spoiler Alert tour back to St Albans next week.
The stand-up star says he originally intended to call his show ‘I’ll Millennial You in a Minute’.
His promoter, however, thought the title was “off-puttingly baffling”, apparently.
You can see Ed at The Alban Arena on Tuesday, February 27 at 8pm.
In Spoiler Alert he asks whether we have good reason to complain about life.
Are we filled with righteous anger at a world gone wrong or are we all just a bunch of whiny little brats?
He takes this question, turns it upside down and shakes it until the funny falls out.
A doyen of observational comedy, Ed’s television credits include Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, The Graham Norton Show, Live At The Apollo, The One Show, The World’s Most Dangerous Roads and he and Dara Ó Briain filmed the follow-up of their Big Adventure show for BBC Two entitled Dara and Ed’s Road to Mandalay.
Tickets for Ed Byrne’s St Albans show cost £24.
To book tickets, visit The Alban Arena website at www.alban-arena.co.uk or call the box office on 01727 844488.
Following his St Albans date, Ed Byrne returns to Hertfordshire in April for shows in Harpenden and Radlett.
He will be at Harpenden Public Halls on Wednesday, April 11 and then The Radlett Centre on Tuesday, April 17.
Go on – spoil yourself!
And in case you are wondering, Ed says: “That’s my chainsaw in the photo, by the way.”
