Cup games ruled the roost for teams in the Hertfordshire 1961 Sunday Football League - with varying degrees of joy.
There was nothing but unbridled happiness though for Wheathampstead Wanderers as they stormed into the quarter-final of the Herts Sunday Senior Cup.
They beat Hitchin Rovers 11-3 to set up a meeting with another Hitchin Sunday League side, Squirrel Taveners.
Noah Arthur-Tinsworth led the hammering with five while Patrick Sheehy added two.
Nick Casadei, Adam Barton, Dan Wilkins and Jack Latter got the others.
Phoenix are out though, beaten 2-1 by Evergreen.
In the 1961 Intermediate Cup, AFC Boots defeated Division Five leaders Hopfields 6-2 with goals from Curtis Dibly (two), Eddie Chisholm, Jack Tynan, Oliver Whitehouse and Charlie Baraclough.
Cameron Clark and Jack Lohan scored for Hopfields.
Two goals from Louis Batstone and singles by Ollie West and Billy Dean saw Alban Dynamo Res beat Monday Night FC 4-2 while James Lawrence was at the double as Saints moved through, 3-0 against Stotfold Rovers.
Cillian Webb got the other.
Adam Page scored his second hat-trick of the season for Brookmans Park in their 8-0 win against Welwyn Warriors in the Jim Lynch Trophy.
Other goals came from Charlie Nelson (two), Callum Baylis, Freddie Bellinger and Danny Hart.
Harpenden Colts OB had to go to a penalty shoot-out before defeating Pinewood 6-5, all after the teams had drawn 1-1.
Jamie Jones scored for the Colts.
Little Heath won 3-2 against Mermaid with two goals from Jon Rutnam and one from Tino Madziyas.

In the league, and in Division Two, St Georges completed the double over Crown with a 6-1 success. Ryan Harrington hit four and Joseph Manoli and Stephen Dorer the others.
Oliver Townshend got the Crown goal.
Two of the struggling clubs, Royston Rangers and Mermaid Res shared the points in a 2-2 draw.
Cameron Ferguson and Brad Soloman scored for Rangers and Jamal Akaga was one of the Mermaid scorers.
Two goals from Stuart Henderson and single by Jake Deacon and Archie Hobbs saw TNF win 4-1 against Wheathampstead ‘89.
Connor Dunbat-Taylor scored for Wheathampstead.
John Woodward was on the two-goal mark and Matthew Nugent got one when Welwyn Warriors Res defeated Brookmans Park Res 3-0.
In Division Four, bottom side Little Heath Res picked up their first league win of the season, beating London Colney United 4-3 thanks to goals from Nathan Reid (two), James Bexon and Archie Herbert.
Colney’s replies came from a Bailey Calas brace and a Cassius Trangmar single.
Marshalswick Rovers scored six for the second week running in a 6-1 win against Royston Rangers Res.
Their scorers were Kai Takahashi and Jack Messam (both two), Luke Spencer and Matt Nash. Billy Smith scored for Rangers.
Second placed Phoenix ‘A’ completed the double over Hatfield Seniors with a 3-0 win.
Goals came from Matt Berry, Sam McCord and Danny Sherman.
