St Albans Striders were in fine form and with fine numbers as they tackled two 10k events in the county.
The Herts 10k saw a dominating performance from those in yellow and blue vests.
Held at the Herts Showground in Rebourn this year, there was also the option of a 5k race.
And Striders took gold in both, Kate Dixon coming home in first in the 10k and Tom Toyer crossing first in the 5k.
Other accolades went to Chris Dennell who was second male in the 10k while there were good runs from Rachel Gregory, Gavin Murrison, Helen Cartlidge, Adam Herron, Max Campbell, Anthony Rowlands, Poppy Chorlton and Eva Dixon.
Another 10k gold was won for the club in London, as Freya Weddell came first in the Victoria Park 10k with a personal best of 36:06.
In North Hertfordshire, specks of the St Albans Striders yellow vests were seen in Letchworth’s Standalone 10k where Stefano Federici completed the course in 32:57, placing fourth overall, and Alan Castle who achieved a PB of 40:55.
In the Chester Marathon, Strider Matthew Cooper ran in an England vest and picked up a M40 bronze medal.
Eleanor Lambert also tackled the gruelling 42.2k course in a time of 3:22.
Across the North Sea, Ivan Ghouse ran the Bruges Half Marathon in 1:28, the fifth British runner to cross the line.
