There were two dominating performances from St Albans Schools as they stormed to victories in a double header against Slough.

Playing in the Southern Counties League & Cotswold League, the U11 Yellows won 7-0, putting a defeat one week earlier firmly behind them.

They made a strong start coming up the slope at Colney Heath, having most of the ball and pressing well.

And after establishing a 3-0 lead at the break, the young saints produced more of the same in the second period.

Keeper Albie Trollope was mainly redundant, only having to deal with pass backs, and they added a further four goals.

Osborne and Foster got two each with Landau, Leith and Rance completing the victory.

Like the boys, they were in charge from the start, taking a 2-0 lead after just two minutes.

And they maintained that momentum for the entire game with passing and moving, as well as finishing, that was out of the top drawer.

Quinn led the way with a hat-trick while Dunn, Huckle, Chau, Haycock, Sergeant and Timmons-Kent chipped in with the rest.

Next up for the yellows is a game against Barnet in the National Cup while the girls travel to play Reigate & Banstead.

The blues and the U10s return to action as they make the trip to Woking.
