Strafford Arms are the last remaining side with a perfect record in the Premier Division of the Hertfordshire 1961 Sunday League.

They won 4-1 at home to Phoenix while Brookmans Park, who had three wins from three, drew 2-2 with Borehamwood Rovers.

Park are still top with 10 points from four but Strafford are a place behind, a point behind and have a game in hand.

Dan Sears, Ryan Carruthers, Lee Dykes and Roddick Agyeman-Duah scored for the Arms, Alie Bangura replying for Phoenix, while Park's scorers were Jonathan Cox and Charlie Nelson.

Billy Lobjoit got both for Borehamwood.

Six Bells are third after a 2-1 win over Wheathampstead Wanderers, Connor Kelly and Jack McShane scoring before Jordan Cornes pulled one back.

The other Premier Division game saw Mermaid beat Wheathampstead Wanderers Sharks 4-3.

Matthew Doherty, Deniz Keni, Stephen Maitland and Callum Pickstock scored for Mermaid with the Sharks' replies from Noah Arthur-Tinworth (two) and Lui Neill.

Strafford Arms Res also won, beating Welwyn Rangers 5-1. Zac Goldthourpe hit three and Charlie Bullamore got two. George Sippetts replied for Welwyn.

Max O'Shea and Alfred Seeby both got two as Six Bells Res won 4-1 against Little Heath, Robert Pinto their scorer.

Forever Young People won 3-2 against 6 of Herts. Lucas Stephens (two) and Brendon Katurura were the FYP scorers, Tasharne Williams with the double for Six.

Alban Dynamo are top of Division Two after a fourth straight success, beating Phoenix Res 4-2.

Ashley Kingston got two and Ben Taylor one while Joseph Curran and Samuel O'Hare scored for Phoenix.

St Goeorge's and Saints both won for the first time and both scored five.

Georges beat Royston Rangers 5-1, Cameron Ferguson replying for Rangers, while James Lawrence scored twice for in a 5-0 win for Saints over Mermaid Res.

Nathan Gibbons, Cameron Leijgrave and Jarvis Fluckinger-Wilson got the others.

Late goals by Sam Jones and Oliver Lacey helped Harpenden Colts OB to a 3-3 draw with Boots. Dan Bradley got the other.

Like the first team, Alban Dynamo Res top the standings in Division Three but they lost for the first time, going down 5-3 to Stotfold Rovers. Ollie West and Dean and Harry Pavett got the Dynamo goals.

Kieran Shepherd got two as Leverstock Green CC won 5-1 against Rose & Crown Mosquito, the others on target being Louis Gaywood-George, Alfie Parkins and Alfie Cooke, while TNF beat Brookmans Park Res 3-0.

Jake Deacon, Steven Orchard and Casey Paine got their goals.

Phoenix A are the new leaders in Division Four after a 5-1 victory over Royston Rangers Res.

Bernard Bradshaw got two with one each for Harry Harmes, Sam Bozier and Matt Westmore.

Hatfield Seniors got the better of Hatfield Comets with a 2-1, Zlatko Murphy getting the Comets goal.

Marshalswick Rovers won 3-2 against Oceans XI, a double from Kai Takahashi and a single from Ian Ward beating a double for Ryan Hamilton.

Little Heath Res and Monday Night drew 2-2, Ben Gasiul and Jack Freund scoring for Heath and Matthew Payne and David Weintrub for MNFC.

A few of the cup competitions started including one county cup.

Wheathampstead 89 lost 2-1 to Hitchin Sunday League side Rovers 49, Duncan Gray getting the consolation in the Herts Sunday Junior Cup.

BWSC beat Welwyn Warriors 2-0 in the 1961 Challenge Cup, Ben Gray and Martin Garvey their scorers.

And in the two 1961 Intermediate Cup ties, Hopfields beat Pinewood 3-2 while Welwyn Warriors Res won 2-1 against London Colney United.

Cameron Clark, Hadley Grazette and Joe Patrick scored for Hopfields with the Pinewood replies from Shaun Murphy and George Milsted.

Alexander Acklam got both of the Welwyn goals with Stephen Kehoe on target for Colney.
