The Hertfordshire 1961 Sunday Football League has started its 63rd season with a full programme of fixtures.

In the Premier Division Brookmans Park recorded their second win beating Mermaid 4-0 with Adam Page (two) and Charlie Nelson among the goals.

Rhys Nibaghan got two and Frank Jowle and Daniel Arthur-Newton one as Six Bells beat Phoenix 4-1. Wilson Mendes scored for Phoenix.

Champions Strafford Arms picked up their second win when defeating Welwyn Warriors 4-0.
Goals came from Reece Brian Cameron (two), Dan Antunes and Jack Davis.

Borehamwood Rovers picked up a fine 4-1 win away at Wheathampstead Sharks with goals
from Brandon Green, Joe McCarthy, Connor Sansom and Harley Jack Fonti.

Adam Barton scored for the Sharks.

Two goals from Jake McIntosh and singles by Martin Garvey, Robbie Plumb and Perry Smith-Aitchison gave BWSC a 6-0 win against Little Heath in Division One.

Chris Dunn (two), Jack Lodge and Marino Savva were three of the Six Bells Res marksmen in a
5-1 win against Strafford Arms Res. Matthew Milne scored for the Arms.

New club Six of Herts overcame Welwyn Rangers 3-1 thanks to two goals from Jervon Cambell
and a Soufian Hamdan single. George Sippetts replied for Rangers.

In Division Two, ace marksman Ashley Kingston hit a hat-trick in a 6-0 win for Alban Dynamo against St George’s. Other goals came from Cain Joseph, Aaron Morrissey and Ben Taylor.

Another new team in the league, AFC Boots made a winning start with a 3-2 result against
Crown. Their goals came from Jacob Jones, Oliver Whitehouse and Harry Presswell.

Royston Rangers picked up their second win, defeating Phoenix Res 3-2 with Cameron Ferguson, Ryan Lawler and Luke Lynch on target.

Jake Gage and Jordan Johnson replied for Phoenix.

In Division Three, Herts Vets ran out 4-2 winners against Brookmans Park Res with Liam Addlesee on the two-goal mark and singles from Luke Finney and Dale Jenkins.

Adnan Lambarito replied with both Park’s goals.

Leo Collier and Ollie West goals gave Alban Dynamo Res a 2-1 win against TNF, Jon Tanton
replying.

In a six-goal thriller Welwyn Warriors Res and Rose & Crown Mosquito drew 3-3. Simon Gibbs, Mitchell Harrison and Sam Ashton scored for Mosquito and Alex Acklam, Alexander Dearman and James Nugent for Warriors.

It was the same score between Wheathampstead ‘89 and Leverstock Green CC. Kieran
Shepherd (two) and Dan Rowlands scored for Green and Andrww Bacon, Daryl Dunbar and Connor Dunbar-Taylor netted for Wheathampstead.

Byron Robinson-Beujkejohn was the top marksman of the day with four goals for London Colney United in Division Four.

They beat Hatfield Seniors 7-0 with Myles Brown (two) and Jon Caravee also scoring.

Hopfields continue to score the goals when defeating Hatfield Comets 6-3. Two goals came from Nathan Burke with singles by Louis Smith, Cameron Clark, Tommy Evans and Kian Khatini.

Comets' goals came from Dan Gurney, Rhys Redwood Aiken and Zlatko Murphy.

Little Heath Res and Royston Rangers Res fought out a 4-4 draw. Heath’s goals came from
Riand Anglis and Kieran Pendrell-Smith, both scoring braces, while the four Royston scorers were Nicolas Curtis, Dan Joseph, Billy Smith and Connor Smith.

Marshalswick Rovers won their second game with a 3-1 score against Monday Night FC.

The goals came from Harry Parker, Jack Neesam and Matthew Nash with Chandler Monk replying for Monday Night.

George Fennell and Bernard Bradshaw both scored two as Oceans XI drew 2-2 with Phoenix A.
