Phoebe Gill was back on the track and back making waves - with another stunning run.
Fresh from her Olympic qualifying time of 1:57: 86 in Belfast, the St Albans Athletics Club youngster was in Manchester at the British Milers Club Grand Prix to see if lightning could strike twice.
And it did, her time of 1:58.08 well inside the Olympic standard as she cruised to victory in the women's 800m A race.
Dillon Smith was also at the event and managed 1:51.54 in the men's 800m B race, finishing fifth.
Keira Stern, who is currently with Loughborough Students, managed 4:33.12 in the 1500m, placing 11th.
Over in Brussels, Sam Jones ran a season's best of 1:54.64 at the IFAM outdoor event.
It was a chaotic race with plenty of pushing and shoving so he and his coach believe there is plenty more to come.
James McMurray meanwhile was just outside of his PB as finished seventh in the senior 1500m, clocking 3:38.61.
Sunday will see the club host its first 2024 fixture from the newly self-managed St Albans track at Westminster Lodge. Spectators are welcome.
