St Albans' Christian Fetti will fight in his first professional boxing match next month at London's York Hall.
The 21-year-old will perform at the prestigious venue in Bethnal Green on Friday, April 12, with his opponent yet to be announced.
Fetti, who is "thrilled" to be fighting at York Hall, said: "I just can’t wait to get in the ring and make St Albans proud.
"It was always a dream to fight at York Hall and now it’s reality. I have had so much support, it’s been brilliant.“
Originally from Finchley, Christian started boxing at the age of 12 at St Albans and London Colney amateur boxing club and turned professional last year.
He now trains at TW1 Boxing, a professional boxing club in Essex.
His trainer Billy Whitrod said: “This is what all the hard work has been for - to get out and show everyone what a talent Christian is!”
In preparation for the fight, Christian is undergoing his first training camp with 6am starts and 5k runs to start the day.
