Harpenden Town's ladies first game at the new look Rothamsted Park brought a victory in the FA Cup.
They beat Stanway Pegasus 3-2 to set-up a second qualifying round clash back at HQ against Essex-based Toby.
And they started in the perfect fashion, with a goal in two minutes.
Mel Jones won the ball in the midfield and gave it to Rebecca McShane. She then looked up and picked out Erin Shacklock to drill it low past the advancing Julia Beavis.
It nearly became two moments later but Sophia Amanor headed over and then the forward was denied by Beavis.
However, she would get on the scoresheet on 21 minutes after Harps won a penalty for handball, sending the keeper the wrong way.
They went hunting for a third and got it eight minutes later, Amanor getting her second in slight fortuitous circumstances, a clearance by Beavis bouncing off her and rolling into the unguarded net.
That stung Stanway Pegasus into action and they had two goals back by half-time.
On 41 minutes Jessica Clark's whipped low cross hit the post but the rebound was stuck away by Stephanie Burder.
Jade Horne then got the second after another Clark assist and it was almost all square in the first minute of the second half, Horne smashing a shot against the crossbar.
Both teams had further chances to score. Hannah Pope had a shot saved and then Amanor fired an effort narrowly wide.
McShane put two efforts wide but the misses did stop Harpenden from advancing to the next round.
