Harpenden's Jack Singleton has agreed a deal to stay with Gloucester Rugby.
The England international hooker moved to Kingsholm in 2020 on a season-long loan from Saracens after the North London side were relegated to the Championship.
And following a year with the Cherry & Whites, Singleton made his move permanent.
The 26-year-old has made just shy of a half-century of appearances in Gloucester colours, including eight this season before suffering a season-ending injury in December.
His rehabilitation though is progressing well and head coach George Skivington is pleased to retain Singleton’s quality in the squad.
He said: "We’re clearly delighted to keep a player of Jack’s calibre at Kingsholm.
"He’s an important player for us, both for his dependability at the set-piece but also just his general work around the pitch.
"It’s been a tough year for Jack with his injury, but we’re excited to have him back up and running going into the new season."
