Old Albanian head coach Andy Holloway said his team were their own worst enemy in Saturday’s loss to Rosslyn Park.

OAs had a chance to snap a three-game losing streak but penalties cut short their attacks too often and led to the try which put the game beyond doubt.

Speaking after the game, Holloway said: “In the first half we played well. We pressed them back with our kicking game. We held their attack well with our defence and we didn’t give them the field position they wanted. But in the second half we gave them everything they wanted. We were ill-disciplined around the halfway line and we gave away two or three cheap penalties when we had their attack under control which allowed them to put us under pressure.

“We were our own worst enemy second half - we played poorly but we should have got a bonus point. We’ve now played the top four for the season - they’re out the way so the remainder of the games are extremely important.”

OAs travel to Loughborough Students on Saturday looking to end a four-game losing run. Kick-off is 3pm.
