STUDENTS at Sandringham School in St Albans were jumping for joy today after receiving “fantastic” GCSE results.
The percentage of pupils who reached the top A* and A grades increased once again this year, with one star student, Jessica Timbs, achieving 12.5 A* grades.
Headteacher Alan Gray said: “These outstanding results are due to the significant efforts of students throughout their time at Sandringham and the hard work and expertise of the teaching staff.”
He added: “I am delighted they have done so well and look forward to following their progress and success in the sixth form over the next two years.”
