St Albans city centre will be home to a new "co-op" working space in September 2025.

In the fourth of its kind, the St Albans Co-Space will be "28,000" sq ft of "design-led office, co-working and meeting space".

The offices range from two-person cubicles to larger 24-person rooms, and there will be two roof terraces for workers to catch some fresh air. On-site parking will also be available for users.

CEO and co-founder of Co-Space Williams Stokes said: "We are professional workspaces for professional businesses - we want people to have a bespoke space which represents them.

"There is a lot of opportunity in Herts and the home counties, St Albans included."

The CEO said the decision to set up in St Albans was "easy" as they wish to cater for the "high volume" of workers in the area.

"We like markets that are untapped, St Albans is affluent, on the commuter belt, and needs a premium offering that will cater for businesses in the area," he added.

St Albans' Victoria Street development is currently home to the Hertfordshire House and Jubilee Square residential builds, the latter was completed in August 2024.

"We'll be launching 28,000 sq/ft of design-led office, co-working and meeting space, a short 19 mins from London Kings Cross, in Sept 2025."

"A huge shout out to the whole team for working none stop to get this across line. We're exciting to share more information, and of course progress pictures, early next year!" The post added.
