Michael Veazey took over the role of music director in September, and since then the choir has attracted new members at their open rehearsals, held at the beginning of each half term.
They will be holding another open rehearsal on Monday, January 20, when rehearsals begin for Handel's Messiah, which will be performed in April.
Details of how to register for the open rehearsal are available on the website, by emailing membership@hardyngechoir.org or by phoning 0845 463 3756.
Tenors and basses are particularly welcome, and no audition is required.
