A Harpenden charity has launched its annual Christmas appeal, raising money to support residents in need and provide all of the services they operate across the town.
The Harpenden Trust's appeal runs throughout December, with funds collected used to help residents during the festive period, as well as to aid the charity's work throughout next year.
The charity supports young families and seniors in the town, offering assistance and a listening ear to those in need.
Richard Nichols, chair of Harpenden Trust, said: "Our Christmas appeal is the only time Harpenden Trust asks for donations, and these donations are vital to the work we do supporting residents in need over the festive period, as well as into the following year.
"We want to be able to help as many Harpenden residents that are in need as we can, and we wouldn’t be able to do that without your amazing donations through our Christmas appeal – for which we are all truly grateful."
The charity is asking residents to consider Harpenden Trust as their chosen Christmas charity and to give whatever they can afford to make a difference in the community.
