Staff an pupils at a St Albans secondary school are "delighted" to have been awarded an 'outstanding' Ofsted rating.
In its latest inspection, Loreto College maintained an outstanding Ofsted rating.
During a visit in October, Ofsted said: "Pupils, and students in the sixth form, are exceptionally well supported to succeed at Loreto College."
Headteacher Lucy Thompson added: "The Ofsted team were really impressed with the pupils and students in the 6th Form and noted the high levels of care they have for each other and how they 'respect and celebrate difference.'
"Our strong Catholic ethos and values shone out through their actions and they are an inspiration to us all!"
The headteacher expressed her gratitude to the schools' "talented staff" who have "high expectations" of children, in addition to governors who "generously give their time" to the school.
"I would also like to thank the parents for their continued support of the school and for responding in high numbers to give such positive feedback to Ofsted," she added.
"Loreto College celebrated its centenary in 2022 - we look forward to another century of exceptional education!"
During the inspection, Ofsted looked into Loreto's provision of curriculum, the staff, behaviour of pupils and SEND education.
The Teachers build strong relationships with pupils, which allows them to thrive and enjoy their education.
Ofsted highlighted that pupils worked "in line with the school’s Catholic ethos", and are taught to "respect and celebrate difference".
It said: "There is a strong culture of tolerance and inclusion. Bullying is rare and pupils are safe."

Teachers were praised by the education watchdog too, for their "excellent knowledge" of the subjects that they deliver.
"Staff check pupils’ understanding and quickly address any errors or misconceptions so that pupils are ready to move on in their learning," Ofsted added.
In regard to SEND provision, Ofsted said: "The school identifies pupils’ needs with precision and shares this information with staff.
"There are a range of strategies available to support pupils with SEND, which are used appropriately when needed. Pupils with SEND achieve very well, including in the sixth form."
