St Albans Police caught technology fraudsters earlier today while conducting a routine stop and search.
The force's shoplifting team conducted a search of a vehicle containing multiple high-end technology products including Apple iPhones and Airpods, in addition to smart watches.
Police issued a warning to the community to stay alert when purchasing expensive products as sellers were advertising them as authentic.
A Facebook post by the police force read: "These are all fake. The St Albans shoplifting team stopped and searched a number of people today and a vehicle where these electrical goods were recovered."
"The occupants were offering them for sale to members of the public advertising them to be real. Please be careful, if it sounds too good to be true it usually is." The post added.
