Two people have been arrested and four stolen vehicles recovered during a police operation to target criminals using the road network in Hertfordshire.
The four-day operation last week was led by the Hertsmere Scorpion team, with support from Scorpion colleagues in St Albans and Welwyn Hatfield.
Several tactics were used to identify vehicles of interest, while proactive patrols were also carried out to deter offences such as burglary and vehicle crime.
As a result, four stolen vehicles were recovered, one person was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs, cannabis was recovered, and one person was arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation.
Officers also attended three separate reports of burglaries in progress.
PC Joe Geeson, from the Hertsmere Scorpion Team, said: "This operation is just one example of how we work with teams across the county to disrupt criminality. I hope it sends a message to people that we are out there and doing all we can to catch those who cause misery among communities."
