Photographer Brian Cooke has created a book of photos showing Harpenden change through different seasons.

Harpenden Through The Seasons features 52 full-page images of the town and surrounding area captured over the past 30 years.

"It is not only a pictorial record of iconic scenes and events but also a historical one.

"The pictures illustrate the beauty of the town and surrounding countryside in which we are fortunate to live."

Brian, who has lived in Harpenden for 46 years, is a member of Harpenden Photographic Society, an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) and an Artist of the Federation of Photographic Art (AFIAP).

He specialises in Hertfordshire and national iconic scenes, and has won national and international awards - including sections of the International Garden Photographer of the Year competition.
