Christina Alden and Alex Patterson are set to perform in St Albans for the first time in years.
The multi-instrumentalists and songwriters from Norwich will be the headline performers at a concert on Sunday, November 17, at 7.30pm.
The event will take place at St Saviour’s Church Hall in Sandpit Lane.
The duo, who have been touring extensively in the UK and Europe, are known for their intertwining harmony, accomplished musicianship, and creative songwriting style.
Since their last performance in St Albans as part of the trio Alden, Patterson, and Dashwood, the pair have been busy with a 23-date concert hall tour with Show of Hands, a show at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for Celtic Connections, and performances in Norway, Belgium, France, and Ireland.
They have also written and self-released four albums, composed music for a BBC Radio 4 documentary series, and have had more than a million streams on Spotify.
Support for the concert will be provided by New Roots 2023 finalist, Conor Reynolds.
The young Anglo-Irish multi-instrumentalist and singer is already making his mark on the UK folk scene with his blend of original tunes and traditional songs.
