Saturday night marked another sparkling success at the St Albans Cathedral fireworks display, known as 'The Fireworks Spectacular"'
Verulamium Park hosted a brilliant evening of pyrotechnics with the beautiful backdrop of the cathedral and lake.
This year, money was raised for charities Earthworks St Albans and Home-Start Hertfordshire.
We picked out some of the best pictures and videos for those who wish to reminisce or were unfortunate enough to miss out.
Rev'd Will Gibbs, a member of the St Albans Cathedral Firework Committee commented: “We were thrilled by this year’s event which was a brilliant display accompanied to the music of Disney and greatly enjoyed by adults and young people alike.
"My only sadness was that some people chose to view the event from outside the cordon and avoid paying to get in. The whole point of the event is to bring our community together and to raise money for local charities and this rather missed the point.
"Overall, it was a wonderful night and we thank everyone who helped to make it such a success. We are looking forward to next year already!”
