Police are appealing for witnesses and information as part of enquiries into an attempted knife point robbery in Bricket Wood.

At around 8.55pm on Monday, September 30, the victim left the train station using the railway footbridge linking Station Road and Black Boy Wood.

The suspect then threatened the victim with what is suspected to be a knife and demanded his phone before fleeing the scene on a bicycle.

Police believe that the bicycle was a mountain-bike with a white bottle on it.

Detective Constable Oliver Virtue said: “We are currently reviewing CCTV in the area, but I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward. We request that if you have dash-cam footage to please share it with us.

“If you have any information or footage that may help with our investigations, please get in contact.”
