A suspected drink driver has been arrested after a crash in Kimpton last night (October 22).
Police were called at around 9pm on Wednesday following reports of a single-vehicle collision in Kimpton Road.
Officers attended and located a damaged vehicle, and the driver, a 24-year-old man, was arrested at the scene.
PC Callum Ellis, of the North Herts Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "Fortunately nobody was seriously injured in this collision.
"Alcohol impairs your judgement and makes reactions slower, which significantly increases the chance of being involved in a collision putting the lives of others, and yourself, at risk.
"Our advice therefore is to always avoid alcohol if you know you will have to drive or make alternative travel arrangements."
