A pedestrian has been left with cuts to his head following an assault in Hemel Hempstead.
The incident took place in High Street Green at around 3pm on October 13.
It was reported to police that a man allegedly got out of his car and attacked a pedestrian with a weapon.
The victim, a man in his 40s, sustained cuts to head.
Police believe the two men were known to each other and are appealing for information or footage that can assist them.
Detective Constable Natasha Gibbings, from the Dacorum local crime unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and I am urging anyone with information to please get in touch.
“If you saw what happened, have any dash cam or CCTV footage, or any further information, then please contact police.
“I understand someone may have been recording the incident on their mobile phone at the time, and I am keen to obtain this footage to assist the investigation.
“Any information can be emailed to me directly via Natasha.Gibbings@hertspolice.uk."
