Staff and pupils at a Harpenden school are "absolutely thrilled" to be recognised as Independent Boys' School of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony.
During the 2024 Independent School of the Year Awards there were more than 700 nominations across the country, with Aldwickbury coming out on top in the boys' school category.
The institution becomes the first-ever Prep School to win this category, and joins the long list of previous winners such as Tonbridge, Whitgift, Bedford and St Paul’s.
Aldwickbury headmaster Paul Symes and deputy headmaster Chris Schanschieff received the award during a ceremony at The Law Society in London.
"This incredible achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication and hard work of our entire team, the boys' ability to embrace the challenges and opportunities available to them, and the invaluable support of our parents and wider school community."

The school believes that is has built an inspirational environment where boys are not only happy, but also" challenged, kind, and able to flourish" as their authentic selves.
