A Bricket Wood-based catering company has been awarded its second perfect score from the Food Standards Agency.
Lifelong St Albans resident Tom French, 39, is "proud" to have retained a 5/5 hygiene rating from the food standards watchdog for his solo business, All Things Catered.
The company scored "very good" in all areas - hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.
Tom said it was "really nice" to be recognised for his hard work and food safety.
"I'm really proud, a lot of work goes into it learning all the hygiene, allergy, maintenance and food handling bits," said Tom.
"The hygiene score is a rating that everyone recognises too and it's publicised greatly, so I make it a priority for my business."

Since opening in 2019, All Things Catered has battle through the Covid pandemic and become a well-regarded business for providing buffets for events like funerals and parties.
The 39-year-old recalled his previous work at The Pudding Stop, Luton Hoo and Starbucks in Chiswell Green as key experience for not only his business, but obtaining a top hygiene score.
He added: "I used all these skills I've picked up along the way which was vital in obtaining this score and the external confirmation that I needed."
Following the inspection, All Things Catered published a Facebook post which read: "Second inspection and second five star.
"Working hard and being registered with the council is really important for food businesses. It makes me happy to know that as a small business I'm doing "very good"
"The scores were fantastic, in a odd way I got 0 out of 80, the lower the better in this case. And I always enjoy the opportunity to chat with the experts and gain knowledge."
Currently, Tom is heavily involved with gym Active Luton where he helps to provide hot meals for children that usually receive free school lunches during their half term.
The caterer hopes to expand in the coming years to cover larger events like weddings and cook for more people.
