Last week, a beloved Indian restaurant in St Albans had a surprise visit from a very special guest.
On Friday, October 11, Nouvellè Lounge enjoyed the company of actor Kellie Bright, best known for her role as Linda Carter in the BBC soap.
Bright also featured as 'Me Julie' in the film 'Ali G In Da House' among other TV shows.
The owner, Mohammed Choudhury, 26, was "shocked" to see the star but ensured that she received the same "high-quality service" as their regular customers.
"It was nice to have her in, it created more of a buzz in the restaurant which made the night more lively," he said.

Following the visit, a post on the Nouvellè Lounge Facebook read: "Typical weekend at Nouvellè, you never know who you might see."
This is the third cast member from EastEnders to dine at Nouvellè and their sister restaurant Samrat, with Toby-Alexander Smith, who plays Gray Atkins, and Max Bowden, who starred as Ben Mitchell, also popping by for a meal.
The owner confirmed that Bright told him 'it was the best curry I've ever had'. Mohammed also suggested that an upgrade was coming to the restaurant soon.
He added: "We're hoping to open a new bar area before Christmas, if not, it will be early 2025."
