Following this, an advertisement application was made on September 31 by the same applicant to build two externally illuminated fascia signs and one non-illuminated hanging sign.
The proposal has since received conditional planning permission from SACDC.
Council Officer, Jacqui Ansell concluded that it will have "no detrimental impact on visual amenity nor on highway safety", suggesting the proposal will "preserve or enhance" the character and appearance of the Conservation Area.
The key condition of permission is that the illumination of any advertisement display shall take place during the hours of opening of the business operation only and at no other times.
Herts Highways considered the proposal and said that the signs would not impact the "safety and operation" of the surrounding highway network.
