Drivers in and around St Albans will have seven road closures to watch out for this week.
Three of the closures are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that seven closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• M25, from 10pm October 14 to 5am October 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 21A to junction 22, Lane closure for electrical technology works.
• A405, from 10pm October 14 to 6am October 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A405 southbound, junction M25 to junction M1, carriageway and slip road closure for renewal works, diversion via Local Authorities roads.
• A405, from 11pm October 18 to 5.30am October 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A405 northbound, junction M1 to junction M25, Lane closure for sign works.
• A414, from 9pm October 21 to 6am October 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A414 eastbound, Watford Road over bridge to Park Street roundabout - lane closure for trail hole works on behalf of Volker Fitzpatrick.
• M1, from 10pm October 21 to 6am November 2, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 5 to junction 6A, carriageway and entry slip road closure for resurfacing works, diversion via Local Authorities.
• A405, from 10pm October 21 to 5am October 22, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound,, junction 8 to junction 6 - carriageway closure, lane closure and diversion route for communications on behalf of National Highways.
• A405, from 10pm October 21 to 5.30am October 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 clockwise and anti-clockwise, junction 21 roundabout and all approaches, lane closure for renewal works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
