The Northern Lights were visible across parts of St Albans and Harpenden last night with a stunning display dazzling residents across the county.
The Northern Lights are often spotted in places like Finland but are rare in the UK - especially in the south east of England, making last night a rare chance to catch a glimpse of their beauty.
Also known as the Aurora Borealis, the lights are known for being one of the most spectacular displays in the night sky.
