There are currently long delays between the B556 and B5378 in London Colney due to planned roadworks.
The latest update from Herts Highways suggests delays are northbound on Shenley Lane and Bell Lane with temporary traffic lights in use.
Traffic is now backing up to the A1081 London Colney bypass and the M25 slip road with Herts Highways requesting drivers avoid the area.

According to Google Maps and the AA, traffic is moving slowly for up to two miles northbound going past Mcdonalds London Colney as well as Watford and Arsenal football clubs training facilities.
Roadworks are being conducted by the UK Power Network on the nearby Harper Lane from Monday October 7, to Friday, October 11 for a "new service connection".
