A fresh round of public notices have been published for St Albans and Harpenden residents.

The following planning applications could affect the district in the coming weeks and months.

The public notice portal is used to access all of the upcoming and recent information about restrictions and notices.

As ever, we're rounding up a few that could impact residents across the district.

1. Harpenden Leisure Centre

An application has been made to install new solar panels at Harpenden Leisure Centre.

These would be installed on the pitched roof of the facility.

2. Sopwell Lane

Plans have been submitted for two front timber windows and the front door to be replaced at 94 Sopwell Lane, St Albans.

The application also seeks permission for the repainting of a plinth.

3. The Peacock

Permission is being sought to extend the beer garden at The Peacock on Hatfield Road, St Albans.

If approved, the garden would be extended and a raised timber deck would be added.

4. Little Nightingales Children's Nursery 

Plans have been submitted for a change of use that would see Little Nightingales Children's Nursery in London Colney expand and increase its capacity.

An existing first floor flat would be converted into nursery space.

5. Holywell Hill

Finally, an application has been made for alterations at Postboy House at 48 Holywell Hill, St Albans.

The kitchen, utility room and WC fittings would be replaced and a new floor finish would be applied.
