The Company of Ten is continuing its 90th anniversary season with The Father by Florian Zeller.
The play, staged at the Abbey Theatre Studio in St Albans, is a moving tragi-comedy about the challenges of dementia.
Performances will take place at 8pm from Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12, and from Tuesday, October 15 to Saturday, October 19.
A Sunday matinée will be held on Sunday, October 13 at 2.30pm.

The Father tells the story of André, an elderly man whose grip on reality begins to slip. As he struggles to make sense of his changing world, the audience is drawn into his experience - feeling his confusion, frustration and fear.

The film version, starring Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Colman, won the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay, while Hopkins won the Oscar for Best Actor.
This stage version stars Rory Byrne and his real-life daughter Katy Robinson, guided by director Phil Reardon.
Rory said: "It has been incredibly rewarding to work with Katy on this play about the love that exists between a father and daughter and the impact hard choices have on this relationship."
