A St Albans takeaway has vandalised just weeks after opening its doors.
Sala Thai Kitchen welcomed customers to 5a High Street on August 15, with plans to expand to indoor dining in October.
The opening was a success, with owner Thippawan Rashleigh remarking on the "great feedback" from customers.
But on Monday (September 9) at around 3.27pm, police were called to reports of criminal damage at the new eatery, with white paint having been thrown over the door to the establishment.
Officers say that enquires are ongoing.
