A celebrity golf day in St Albans has raised £75,000 for a children's hospice.
Tottenham Hotspur vice-captain James Maddison organised the event, called 'The Maddison Invitational', at Centurion Golf Club and handed over the cheque at a recent event.
The day saw professional footballers and celebrities, including actor Tom Holland and singer Olly Murs, taking part.
The funds raised were handed over to Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, Tottenham Hotspur’s official charity partner since 2016.
Noah's Ark provides support for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
James Maddison, speaking in May, said: "I was blown away following my recent visit to Noah’s Ark by the amazing work done by the charity and the support it receives from the club.
"It was a real pleasure to meet with both the staff and families, and I am delighted to be able to give something back by raising funds for the charity at this event."
The event included speeches from James Maddison and Sophie Andrews OBE, CEO of Noah's Ark Children's Hospice, plus an auction of holidays and football memorabilia.
Sophie Andrews OBE said: "We are extremely grateful to James Maddison for dedicating his annual celebrity golf day to us as Spurs’ official charity partner.
"This generous donation will fund our vital work."
