Harpenden's Olympic phenom Phoebe Gill will present the trophies to the winners of this month's Great St Albans Challenge.
The British 800m champion won hearts across the country with her run to the semi-finals in Paris last month and is tipped for big things in the future.
Following her return home, she was honoured with a spot on her hometown's underpass mural and will now be presenting trophies to the winners of St Albans' Sherlock Holmes-style treasure hunt.
Phoebe will be joined by Daisy Cooper MP and High Sheriff of Hertfordshire, Annie Brewster, to hand out the silverware.
The 17-year-old starlet said: "As a young person from the area I am delighted to be supporting the Great St Albans Challenge in support of Youth Talk, a charity that provides a safe and confidential space for local young people to talk and share.
"Witnessing the effects of lockdown on friends and peers, unstable home environments, the hormonal changes that can influence how we think and feel about ourselves, together with the added pressures of academic achievement and expectations not to mention the stresses of social media fuelled my interest in mental wellbeing.
“As an athlete, I also realised how much of an impact mindset plays on my own performance, so having someone to talk through fears and anxiety is paramount.
