Oaklands College is offering families the chance to save more than 40 per cent on tickets for Oaktober Fest 2024.

Those who book before Monday, September 9, can buy a family ticket for four people for £22.38, or single tickets for £8.30.

From September 10, prices will rise to £31.58 for a family ticket and £11.55 for a single ticket.

The festival, which takes place on Saturday, October 12, will have various attractions, including the college's on-site zoo and farm.

This will feature animals and reptiles such as meerkats, ring-tailed lemurs, pythons, bearded dragons, Highland cows, alpacas, pigs and donkeys.

There will also be live shows, tractor rides, pumpkin decorating, and face painting.

Visitors can browse stalls offering handmade crafts and there will also be a variety of street food.

A pumpkin token, priced at £6.13, will include a pumpkin, decorations, and a pumpkin-decorating masterclass.

An Oaklands College spokesperson said: "There will also be live shows throughout the day, on the hour every hour featuring the sensational Captain Fantastic.

"And of course, the Oaklands estate is stunning in the autumn so there will be plenty of opportunities to stroll through the orchards and enjoy the autumnal colours."
