The new season will start on Tuesday, September 3 and features a series of events for photography enthusiasts.
HP, has more than 70 members, and holds meetings from September to June on the first and third Tuesday of each month, either at the Harpenden Trust Hall in Southdown or on Zoom - often featuring guest speakers.
This season's opening presentation is ‘ROCK STARS DON’T SMILE‘ - An Evening with Danny Clifford.
The renowned photographer, whose notable career includes capturing iconic music personalities over the last 40 years, will appear at Harpenden Trust Hall on Tuesday, September 3.
Danny will offer an exclusive look into his archive and the compelling stories behind the images.
Steve Collins, chair of HPS, said: "I couldn't be more thrilled to be welcoming legendary rock photographer Danny Clifford to the club as our opening presentation for the new season.
"Danny's photographs of rock icons from across the last four and a half decades, along with the wonderful stories behind them, will ensure a highly entertaining evening and will definitely appeal to any fan of music or photography.
"Not to be missed!
"As always, HPS has an incredible programme of activity to appeal to anyone interested in photography, and this season is looking very strong, so please consider joining us and supporting your local photography club.
"New members are always welcome!"
The event, starting at 8pm and concluding at 10pm, is free for HPS members, while non-members can buy tickets for £12.50 plus Eventbrite fees.
The ticket price will be deducted from the HPS membership fee, if the attendees later decide to join the society.
Doors will open at 7.50pm.
