A parade of five terraced buildings intended for use as studio flats have gone on the market in St Albans.
127-135 Radlett Road is on the market for £2.3m and which are arranged to provide 21 flats across three floors.
The listing on the London Auction House says that "the property is situated on a residential road close to local shops and amenities".
It also boasts of the sites close proximity to the open spaces of Shenley Park, as well as the transport links provided by nearby How Wood station.
However, many residents on social media have noted that the site is in close proximity to the controversial rail freight that looks set to be built in Radlett, despite legal challenges.
One commenter wrote: "Wonder who’ll buy it? It’ll be metres from the rail freight terminal and one of the bypass entrance/exits is between these properties and the M25 bridge."
Another expressed scepticism about the value for money, writing: "Sandwiched in between the M25, on a busy road into industrial estate with Lorries rumbling past all day, and shortly the rail freight terminal."
The property is on the market with a guide price in the region of £2,350,000, with marketers claiming that the flats could generate annual income of £189,121.92 once acquired.
