St Albans City and District Council has announced upcoming changes to bin collections ahead of the bank holiday.
Like many workers, bin collection staff will not be working on bank holiday Monday (August 26), meaning no bins will be collected on that day.
As a result, bin collections will be a day late throughout next week.
The full changes are as follows:
Normal collection day – Revised collection day
- Monday, August 26 - Tuesday, August 27.
- Tuesday, August 27 - Wednesday, August 28.
- Wednesday, August 28 - Thursday, August 29.
- Thursday, August 29- Friday, August 30.
- Friday August 30 - Saturday, August 31.
Normal service will resume the week commencing September 2.
