More than 150 people have now signed up for next month's Great St Albans Challenge.

The interactive treasure hunt takes place on September 29 and will see participants channel their inner Sherlock Holmes as they race around the city.

Starting and finishing at St Albans Cathedral, the challenge will be GPS led, with participants using their mobile phones to find hotspots to complete tasks throughout the day.

Raising money for charity Youth Talk, the event aims to show off the city's landmarks while aiding a good cause.

On the challenge, she said: "I love St Albans. I love the people here, it's a part of my heart."
