Five planning applications are among the public notices that St Albans and Harpenden residents need to know about this week.

1. De Tany Court
Plans have been submitted for a loft conversion at 49 De Tany Court, St Albans.
The application includes front and rear rooflights and a side gable window.

2. Milton Road
An application has been made for extensions to the property at 29 Milton Road, Harpenden.
If approved, the plans would see a two storey side and front extension, as well as a single storey front extension.

3. New pharmacy on Harpenden High Street
Plans have been submitted for a change of use at 1 High Street, Harpenden.
The application would see the basement and ground floor of the building become a new retail pharmacy.

4. Rosebury Avenue
An application has been made for a garage to be converted into habitable accommodation at 1a Rosebury Avenue in Harpenden.
The plans would include the installation of new doors and windows, as well as a new gable roof.

5. Prospect Road
Finally, plans have been submitted for alterations to the rear facing flat roof dormer at 69 Prospect Road, St Albans.
