St Albans has gone viral after a clip of Jimmy Carr taking a swipe at the city was viewed more than four million times.
The controversial comedian visited the Alban Arena in May as part of his Laughs Funny tour and took aim at St Albans and Hemel Hempstead during an exchange with an Italian couple.
The 8 out of 10 Cats star began by asking the couple where they were from and reacted incredulously when they responded that they were from Italy.
He quipped: "The f***k are you doing in St Albans?"
The 51-year-old followed this up by remarking: "I've been to Italy and it's lovely - some offence St Albans."
But the city's neighbours didn't get off lightly, with the couple revealing they live in Hemel Hempstead for work.

Carr didn't miss a beat, joking that the pair must be in Hertfordshire as part of a "Mafia Witness Relocation scheme."
The clip was shared on social media and has had 4.6 million views and 181,000 likes in just two days.
Carr will be returning to Hertfordshire on October 5 when his tour comes to the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage.
