An appeal has been launched following reports of an indecent exposure in Hemel Hempstead.

Officers were called to Grovehill Playing Fields in Hemel Hempstead at 8.40am on Sunday morning (August 4) to reports that a man had been seen touching himself inappropriately.

Police attended and carried out a search, but the man was not traced.

Detective Sergeant Yolanda Morales-Willis, from the Local Crime Unit, said: “As part of our ongoing enquiries I am appealing for further witnesses to please contact us.

"It is believed there were several dog walkers in the area at the time who saw what happened.

"If you did witness the incident, or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around the time, we’d like to hear from you.”

Anyone with information has been urged to to please contact DS Morales-Willis by emailing yolanda.morales-willis@herts.police.uk
