As another week comes to an end, a fresh round of public notices have been published for St Albans residents.
As ever, we're rounding up five planning applications that could affect the district in the coming weeks and months.
The public notice portal is used to access all of the upcoming and recent information about restrictions and notices.
1. Batchwood Hall
Plans have been submitted that would see a change of use for Batchwood Hall in St Albans from a nightclub into a restaurant.
Under the proposals, the Hall would also have a bar and serve as a venue for weddings and other functions.
The plans also include internal and external refurbishment and the creation of a dining terrace and garden.

2. Retirement homes, Catherine Street and Church Street
An application has been made for a part two-and-a-half storey, part three-storey building made up of 42 apartment units that will serve as a retirement home.
The plans involve the redevelopment of the site from 18 to 28 Catherine Street and from 8 to 12 Church Street, St Albans.

3. The Old Church
Plans have been resubmitted for a change of use from offices to residential space at The Old Church on Verulam Road, St Albans.
The proposals seek to create three new dwellings with external alterations, associated parking, landscaping and amenity space.
This application has been put forward again having previously been rejected.

4. Chandau Lamb Lane
An application has been made for the demolition of a detached two-storey dwelling and the erection of a replacement dwelling at Chandau Lamb Lane, Redbourn,
The plans also include roof-mounted solar panels and an air source heat pump .

5. Sandridge Road
Finally, plans have been submitted for a single storey rear extension at 102 Sandridge Road, St Albans.
The application also includes the replacement of the windows and front door of the property.
