St Albans playwright Mial Pagan is debuting his new play Thin Places at Camden Fringe this month.
The play is described as an "intimate, darkly comedic" drama set in a village in Northern Ireland, exploring themes of exile and the poignant, and sometimes difficult, return to our roots.
A cast of Hertfordshire actors will perform the play at Islington's Little Angel Theatre at 8.30pm on Thursday, August 22, Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24.
Tickets cost £12 are available at https://camdenfringe.com/events/thin-places/.
The play contains swearing and mild sexual references, and is suitable for ages 16 and over.
Mial, who has been nominated for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting - the biggest playwriting prize in Europe - also had his previous play National Trust staged at Camden Fringe in 2021.

A review for National Trust stated: "Theatrically original and vibrant, National Trust is a gripping play that is hugely topical to today’s political systems and to contemporary issues.
"The drama blends capital P Politics with lower case personal politics with confidence and ease."
Mial is also a member of the Company of Ten at the Abbey Theatre in St Albans.
The Camden Fringe runs until Sunday, August 25.
