New research has revealed the huge difference in house prices across St Albans, with more than £2.5m separating the most and least expensive streets in the area.
The five most expensive streets have all seen houses sell for an average of over £2m over the last five years, with Pondwicks Close ranking as the city's most expensive street - with houses selling for an average of £2,672,225.
Conversely, Beacon House is the cheapest street to buy a house on, with the average property setting you back a relatively princely sum of £126,000.
The data comes from an analysis of Land Registry Figures conducted by auctioneers Property Solvers.
The most sales across the last five years have taken place on St Augusta Court and Cotsmoor, both having seen 10 properties change hands since 2019.
On St Augusta Court the average house price was £191,800 and on Cotsmoor it was £176,457.
Only streets with three or more properties sold were eligible to included, so as to not skew the data.
The most expensive house sold individually was a property on The Park, which sold for a cool £4.7m.
