A major road in Sandridge has reopened after fly tipped rubbish caused a blockage on Friday (June 28).
Coleman Green Lane, between Wheathampsted Road and Hammond Lane, had been blocked in both directions after rubbish was left strewn across the road during the early hours.
The road remained blocked all weekend as the council lacked a suitable lorry for clearing away the rubbish.
Herts County Council have now confirmed today (July 1) that the rubbish has been cleared and the road is once again open.
