A major road in Sandridge is set to remain closed until Monday as fly-tipped rubbish has blocked the carriageway.
Coleman Green Lane, between Wheathampsted Road and Hammond Lane, is closed in both directions.
The road will remain blocked until the rubbish can be cleared.
A spokesperson for Herts County Council said: "Unfortunately we don’t have a suitable lorry available today, so won’t be able to clear the obstruction until Monday."
